A few months ago, watching almost every night for months, my family and I completed the entire Little House on the Prairie series.
I’m that person obsessed with Hamilton. If you need a duet partner for “My Shot,” (and that funny little exchange between the king's herald and Hamilton) I’m your girl.
I’m obsessed with Jesus Helguera’s Grandeza Azteca - it was the first piece of art I fell in LOVE with as child. The second - as an adult - was the Laocoön sculpture. My heart's masterpiece.
I fall hard (read: obsess over) a new recipe, perfect it, and then move on - but not without giving it my all (and then it gets a coveted space in my recipe binder).
My bookshelf is organized chaos and I can, with almost 100% accuracy, #1 tell you if we have a book, and #2 tell you the color...and I take that seriously.
As a kid, I dreamed of being both a doctor and Wonder Woman—now? I’m a mineral water aficionado. In between? I wanted to be (not necessarily in this order) a stewardess, an artist (still,) an interior designer (Christopher Lowell? Martha Stewart? c'mon!) Then there was chef (my first inspiration - Jack Tripper), but that morphed into pretending I had my own cooking show in my kitchen. Then comedian - but not like on stage, just like a street performer or something. And the one I always thinking about and know I am she in another dimension - show girl. Garish, intentioned, powerful.
Overhead/fluorescent lights? Torture.
I definitely have opinions on just about everything, and if you stop for a minute, I’ll share my latest obsession. Be warned—it’s passionate and probably never-ending.
I’m equal parts compassionate, creative, and resilient—ready for anything life throws at me.
I’m a devoted mom of five, three of whom I homeschooled.
Need advice on surviving family chaos? I’m your person. Watching kids grow into themselves is magical, but let’s face it—it’s mostly about surviving the growing pains.
I’ve spent years as a lactation support leader and educator, learning that love, kindness, and sharing are the keys to parenting.
When I’m not baking or desperately trying to keep my plants alive, I’m collecting treasures—books, tiny trinkets, and rocks from my friends’ travels. It’s like my own world tour, but cheaper and with more dirt.
Resilient, optimistic, and always ready for the next adventure—that’s me in a nutshell.
Words I and others have used to describe me (well... the nicer ones):
Expressive. Generous. Heartfelt. Kind. Helpful. Stubborn. Brave. Bold. Lively. Adventurous. Joyful. Energetic. Dynamic. Vivid. Striking. Pointed. Glowing.
